one more month

So, only one more month until I move with the new hubby to a land far far away: Rexburg, ID. 

This is what it looked like the few hours I was there in November. 

Hopefully it will have thawed out and warmed up a bit (crossing my fingers!)

I really do LOVE San Jose, California, and I think I will miss it a lot. SO for our last month in town I'm trying to do all the stuff I love.

This Saturday we...

 ...went to the San Jose Museum of Art 

...ate lunch at Pizza My Heart

...snacked on Ben and Jerry's (actual photo)

... and finished the night with a free movie at the California Theater 

as part of San Jose's very own film festival Cinequest (not actual picture)

We saw "Outsourced" which I LOVED!

Then we went home and were super lazy after a long eventful day. Oh! did I mention it was our one month wedding anniversary?! Thank you Jeremy, for treating your wife like San Jose royalty!!

The Haircut!

When Jeremy got back from school his hair was getting pretty shaggy. He likes when I cut it now (I have no idea why, exibit A). I told him he needed to get it cut at least 2 weeks before the wedding just in case.

So at the end of January I came over before church (before i really woke up) to give the handsome man a haircut.

A tour of Bocas del Toro

Did you think I was done? HAHAHA, we are only half way done, sucker!!!

Today I thought i would post pictures Becky took of our walk from our bed and breakfast to the main part of town. Its about a 1/2 mile - 1 mile (I'm bad at trying to figure out distance) but it was a good 10-15 minute walk.

This is the little walkway outside the little gate of the bed and breakfast.

Along one of the walls people had painted murals and this one had my initials (MBB) on it!
This is the bigger road that goes about a mile or so before it curves right into the main road.
We walked by all forms of homes, ice boxes, bus stops, I think a small cemetery... and the road was lined with coconut trees, dogs, and vultures. Becky did not like the vultures
When the road curves right you see all the way down the main road. On the left were the boat tours and tourist shops, and on the right were some hotels, grocery stores, and the place that sold our favorite empanadas.The yellow taxis are actually nice new Toyota trucks, and all you have to do is raise your arm and they stop to give you a ride. If there is room, they'll squish as many pasangers in as they can (its such a small place that dropping off people along the way doesn't take any more time)

Our favorite part of town had to be this guy
We saw him everyday no matter where we were, and he was always singing Bob Marley. He made us happy. The first night in town he sang in the resteraunt we ate at. This picture is from the little empanada place where he was singing across the street to a group of girls.

Hot Target scanning action!

I don't know if you can handle this!

On Jan 6th (one month til the wedding!!!) Jeremy and I went to Target and worked on our wedding registry. We had so much fun goofing around and being silly.

Jeremy had fun with the scanner! (He is also having fun boycotting BYU-I's shaving honor code while he's home until right before the wedding and again after.)

We may have gone a little overboard and had PAGES of stuff.

We had a great time!
